Luna (Eulalia) is the Pure Blood, the proginator of the Vampire species.
Luna is known, at first, to be the Pureblood Vampire who killed Gil's family, although later on, it is shown that that is not actually what happened.
She showed up before the Director of ISS and told him that she would help them to get rid of the vampires. However, her identity is being hidden, which would be why she is disguised as Luna, the Escudo of Gil. Gil, however, is also keeping an eye on Luna by the Director's orders, in case she turns against them.
